B.A in Psychology
Before starting my career in the international trading. I switched my career because I believe in the impact education could make on young people. I was an international student when I first came to the states and I got my bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Washington. My experience as an international student and major in psychology will allow me to understand your stress and needs better.
Studies have indicated that stress overload can decrease a person’s performance and potential in academics and career. I want to help and support students along their journey to their success. I know the feelings of helplessness, frustration, and loneliness. Contact me if you just need a talk!

My family was a host family and hosted international students from China, Japan, Indonesia, Russia, and many other Southern Asian countries. Through the 2+2 community college to university pathway, our host students succeed in transferring to well reputable universities such as University of California - Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, University of Washington, and many others. As a host family, we were aware of the influence that we might have on international students. We also noticed many challenges that they face when they first come to the states. They hide themself in their room, misunderstand the US educational system, don’t use school resources and talk to school counselors, which all are essential for them to pursue their academic and personal goals in the US. We founded VIGP to provide counseling, activities, hands-on assistance for students to succeed!
